The first thing to check is what type of rail system your sliding closet door uses in order for it to slide.
Sliding barn door falls off track.
There are little anti jump brackets on the top edge of the door.
Step 2 lay the door on a flat surface and tighten the screws in all four corners.
Wiggle the door until the pivot snaps into the hole.
Usually they become worn down by traffic and may have to be re leveled and reinstalled.
Hold down the spring loaded guide on the opposite side of the other door panel and swing the door until the guide is under the track.
Remove the screen door from the frame by grasping it on both sides and lifting the rollers off the lower track.
It s not too difficult to take the doors off.
Angle the bottom toward you and lift it a little further to disengage the runners on the upper track then pull it out of the doorway.
You simply loosen them with a screwdriver and rotate them out of the way and then you can lift the door off the track.
Once the door is approximately under the hole in the track release the pivot.
See if the screws holding the guides down need tightening to be more secure.
Once secure release the door.
A common sliding barn door problem is worn track wheels.
